The scientific purpose of our rockets is primarily fulfilled through the payload module. Aboard all of our launches, we bring payloads that we either build ourselves or that are provided to us by different teams from all across Europe. These payloads can have many different missions: From testing flight hardware to broadcasting live video or comparing the accuracy of different sensors under extreme conditions - if it fits into a CanSat form factor, we can fly it.

The challenges for our Payload Team revolve around two main aspects: hardware and communication. On the hardware side, we have to ensure that our payload module can withstand the mechanical and thermal stresses during the entire launch profile, while also providing each experiment with power and data—and sometimes even deploying them mid-flight. On the communication side, we coordinate with diffrent teams all across Europe to acquire and integrate payloads: from discussing initial ideas and mission requirements to working closely together during launch operations, communication is one of the most important factors of ensuring mission success.
